Jan Hanen

Hi, I'm Mrs. Hanen. I have been a music teacher for 17 years and I believe that some of the best adventures and memories can come out of being part of a music group. As you get older, those opportunities get bigger and better. I try to plan lots of performance time for the students of Las Brisas so they can start making those memories now.

This year, we will continue to strive to follow the Arizona State Music Standards. Standards outline what each grade level should be learning in music class all over the state of Arizona. These standards are based on the National Music Standards. They are supposing that we see the students a little more often than I do, but we are going to work hard to cover as many of the standards as we can this year.
